DDEMG works with Ohio National Guard’s 52nd Civil Support Team, Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections and the Ohio Highway Patrol on responses to hazardous materials situations at prisons
Members of the Ohio National Guard’s 52nd Civil Support Team put on hazardous materials suits Wednesday morning, Sept. 18, 2019, as part of a training scenario at Southeastern Correctional Institution in Lancaster. The guard team was practicing with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections and the Ohio Highway Patrol on responses to hazardous materials situations at prisons.

Vinton County, OH completes full-scale terrorism, active shooter exercise, GREAT WORK EVERYONE!
The Disaster Demons Emergency Management Group was proud to work with Vinton County, Ohio and the Vinton County Local School District to design and manage their full-scale terrorism, active shooter exercise on August 13, 2019. The exercise involved two shooters entering the high school. All the agencies involved worked well together to eliminate the shooter threat, treat the injured victims, evacuate the school and reunify students with family. We were honored to work with all the great responders in Vinton County to fulfill their exercise requirements. Great work everyone!

Franklin County, OH completes Ohio SERC annual full-scale Hazmat exercise, GREAT WORK EVERYONE!
The Disaster Demons Emergency Management Group was proud to work with Franklin County, Ohio to design and manage their Ohio SERC annual hazardous materials full-scale exercise on June 6, 2019. The exercise involved the extinguishment of a simulated bulk fuel storage tank fire. We were honored to work with all the great responders in Franklin County to fulfill their exercise requirements. Agencies involved were Franklin County EMA, Franklin County CEPAC, Franklin TWP Fire Department, Marathon Petroleum, Franklin TWP Police, Franklin TWP Street Department, Franklin TWP Administration, Columbus Fire Department, Columbus Fire Department Box 15, Columbus Public Health, and Ohio EMA. Great work everyone!
