DDEMG works with New Jersey National Guard’s 21st Civil Support Team on preparedness response exercise at New York State Preparedness Training Center, CityScape, Oriskany, New York.

DDEMG worked with the New Jersey National Guard’s 21st Civil Support Team to design and manage a preparedness response exercise at the New York State Preparedness Training Center, CityScape training facility, in Oriskany, New York on Tuesday, May 23 and Wednesday, May 24, 2023. It was great to work with the New Jersey National Guard’s 21st Civil Support Team to help them organize and plan this training exercise. Job well done by everyone involved.
Also thank you to the New York National Guard’s 2nd Civil Support Team, and the New York State Preparedness Training Center for all there help with the location and planning of this exercise. The use of the CityScape training facility was a great enhancement for the training. CityScape is a state-of-the-art 44,000 square foot complex with 22 different venues including a high school, a mall, a restaurant and bar, an office building, a courthouse, and a motel.

As of February 28th, 2023, NLM has discontinued the Wireless Information System for Emergency Responders (WISER). Users who have downloaded and installed the WISER app on a mobile device or downloaded the WISER system to a desktop computer will still have access, although the data will no longer be updated.
